"In-side Out"

Inside Out:
(clay, paint, sharpie)
So I made this clay bust and originally it was supposed to be covered in funny doodles, so I drew the eyes and the tongue, and I was told it had no relevance to the rest of the piece so I wrote all about questioning what happens when we die. If you want me to type it all just leave a request asking for me to do so. Thanks! 2010

"Heartless"

Heartless:
(Wire, wire mesh, Styrofoam, sticks, paint)
So this piece was formed out of an assignment to use sticks in our sculpture. I threw mine in last minute. The reason its so gruesome is that every one else’s were so happy and cartoon like so I felt like breaking the trend.2010

"Death's Birthday"

Death’s Birthday: 9x24
(guash)
So this is a piece in progress using a Japanese version of watercolors that are very saturated. I started this a while ago and never really got around to finishing. (I ran out of guash) 2010

"Escape to Reality"

Escape to Reality:
(Computer monitor, paint, plaster, book, wire, board, sharpie)
This one actually won an award. The assignment was “altered reality” and this is what I came up with. The writing on the man is all about breathing. If you want me to type it all down, leave a comment requesting so. 2010

"Mom's Flowers"

Mom’s Flowers: 36x48
(Acrylic)
This was a present to my mother for her 50th birthday. I actually finger painted some of it. It was pretty fun; I hadn’t done that since I was little. 2010

"Magically Delicious"

Magically Delicious: 18x24
(Pencil)
This was a “fractured space” piece. The class was assigned to fracture space in a piece, and I was low on inspiration the next morning (while eating cereal) and I came up with this. Hopefully no copy right problems will follow this. If so, I’m sorry Kellogg, he’s just so darn amusing. (Props to my sister on the title of this one as well) 2009

"OMG Robot"

OMG Robot: 18x27.5
(Ink, carved linoleum, paper, marker)
So I carved the robot into one side of the linoleum slab and then the negative of the robot on the other side, and then inked one side, laid it down, and did the same to the other. It’s a simple procedure. (Props to my sister on the name) 2009
